Two Angels at Sky Caskets - Sep 22, 2023 Somehow my phone call got connected with the owner I told him I was interested in the lady Guadalupe casket not only did he seem to know that I was from Nebraska whether my area code showed up and he knew he also took the time to tell me that he is dealt with very happily the funeral director for my mother he spoke highly of the service that the funeral home was going to provide his personal knowledge of the funeral director our small rural community that people blink and miss our towns and his patience with me dealing with an unexpected death was amazing I have just had cataract surgery and was having trouble reading my debit card and he gave me a few minutes to be able to figure out what the card said and then he was still there on the line with me as he sent me to a employee named Colby who was also so very kind and patient them understanding that you're starting your grieving process was a one in a million both the owner of Sky Casket and Colby by their kindness made me feel I was doing the best I could for my mother and that it was going to be okay I can't express my appreciation and gratitude above all I would recommend Sky Casket to everybody because they are definitely the number one leader in the business that still has a human heart running the business and that means a lot God bless you Colby and Mr owner you never gave me your name but you have a voice of gold you set me at ease and for the few moments speaking with you I didn't have the pain of just losing my mom I felt like I had a friend on the other end of the phone who helped me give my mom a beautiful casket for her resting place. Sky Casket has quality caskets at a reasonable price. God bless you all

FAQs: Lady Guadalupe White Steel Casket (Upgrade from Orion)

Gauge measures the thickness of the steel, and a lower number means thicker metal. A 20 gauge casket is the most widely chosen steel option in the United States, offering solid protection and a finished appearance at a more accessible price than heavier gauges.

Highlights are the lighter toned accents worked into the finish along the edges of the lid and body. They catch the light and give the casket definition without introducing a second color, which is why two caskets in the same shade can still look quite different.

An image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is set into the interior lid panel, with matching medallions worked into the handle hardware on both sides.

It is a white finish with gold highlights, paired with a white crepe interior. The gold appears in the accents and hardware rather than the body of the casket.

Yes. The Lady Guadalupe Blue carries the same imagery on a soft sky blue finish with a blue crepe interior. Families usually choose between them on color alone.

It weighs about 180 pounds empty. That is a normal weight for a 20 gauge steel casket and is typically carried by six pallbearers, which is worth mentioning to your funeral director when they plan the service.

No. The Guadalupe imagery is part of the casket as built and it ships as pictured. If you would prefer a casket without devotional detailing, the plain colored options are the ones to look at.
