Above and Beyond This may be a duplicate, the past...

Above and Beyond This may be a duplicate, the past few weeks have been a blur since our dad passed, but if it is a duplicate it's worth the extra credit received. This company went above and beyond for an American patriot. We could not get a casket delivered on time from anywhere else since it was over a holiday weekend, let alone a custom military casket. Thank you Shane and team, you blessed us immensely!

Sep 3, 2022 If I could give them 10 stars...

Sep 3, 2022 If I could give them 10 stars I would! On Wed. Aug 24th I contacted Sky Caskets. I found the perfect casket for my dad. They told me a little about the company and how many caskets they ship a day. I explained that I needed it by Friday (2 days away) and he guaranteed it would be delivered. He also was going to design a beautiful head panel for my father who was a 35 yr veteran. I signed the contract and paid in full. That evening I saw a negative comments about this company. By now I am panicking because if it doesn’t arrive by Friday I will not have a casket for my father and it would be too late to get one for his funeral on Monday. I called and read him the reviews and told him I was terrified that it would not arrive by Friday. He said they have thousands of 5 Star reviews and kept reassuring me it would be delivered on time and that I needed to have faith and he would personally call me when it was delivered on Friday. Thursday he called to let me know they delivered it a day early. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect. He had even pinstriped the casket with Air Force blue. The custom head panel was absolutely stunning. Everything he promised he delivered. Thank you for your kindness and for making my fathers funeral perfect. Joshua, TX

FAQs: United States Air Force Veteran- 20 Gauge Steel

What does 20 gauge steel mean on a casket?
Gauge measures the thickness of the steel, and a lower number means thicker metal. A 20 gauge casket is the most widely chosen steel option in the United States, offering solid protection and a finished appearance at a more accessible price than heavier gauges.
Crepe is a soft fabric with a lightly textured, gently gathered surface. It is a traditional interior choice because it drapes softly and gives the interior a calm, comfortable look under the lighting used at a service.
United States Air Force service emblems are set into the handle hardware along both sides of the casket, identifying the branch the person served in.
The exterior is a navy blue finish and the interior is a white crepe. The service emblems sit against the navy on the outside.
It is designed for an Air Force service member or veteran. Families honoring service in another branch will find the matching casket for that branch in the same range.
It weighs about 180 pounds empty. That is a normal weight for a 20 gauge steel casket and is typically carried by six pallbearers, which is worth mentioning to your funeral director when they plan the service.
No. This casket ships as shown, with the Air Force emblems exactly as pictured. It is a standard catalog casket rather than a made to order one.
